Center on Halsted Executive Director Modesto “Tico” Valle, Ald. Tom Tunney (44th), Novak Construction’s Rob Bond and Center on Halsted board member Robert Kohl helped Whole Foods Market celebrate the opening of its new store July 25 on the first floor of the Center on Halsted at Halsted and Waveland. The 40,000-square-foot store features fresh seasonal and local produce, a salad bar, an espresso, tea and coffee bar and more than 200 varieties of cheeses.
