Log Cabin Illinois honored Ill. state Sen. Christine Radogno (R-Lemont) and state Rep. Elizabeth Coulson (R-Glenview) with Uncommon Courage Awards at its Spirit of Lincoln Awards celebration Sept. 15 at Navy Pier. Radogno was recognized for her support of legislation to ban discrimination against GLBTs in Illinois, while Coulson was praised for supporting civil unions legislation in a committee vote earlier this year.
